Sorry, but you will not be able to get Government Colleges. May be, you will not be able to get in your state, or you can go for Private Colleges.

Sorry buddy but with these marks you cannot get admission in IIEST. You should have scored more marks for that. You can try for State government engineering colleges. All the best.

As you scored 53% and you belong to SC background you can get admission in any of the colleges. But it is difficult for getting admission into NITs and IITs. as per new rule , the new eligibility criteria for getting admission in NIT is having minimum 75% in board 12th exam and the merit of this year is expected above 150 marks in JEE; for General students. For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12th. Based on your WBJEE rank, you can expect seats in Techno India Salt Lake Institute, same link can be used to check eligibility for Heritage College. Branch choice should be based on your field of interest. Looking at current trends, IT companies are offering jobs in great numbers so Computer Science and Information Technology will be good option to look. But before making any choice, do consider your field of interest.

Hey buddy sorry to say that but you cannot get MNIT with these marks as you do not have 75% in class 12th.
You are not eligible for NIT's. Try for state government engineering colleges.

I don't have any idea about IPU.
If your son has 112 marks in JEE having general category, then he might not get any good NITs easily.
He can go for other private colleges.

Yes! Undoubtedly. Last year, at the end admissions were made open. Means, if a student hasn't filled thapar form, he/she can get admission in vacant branches. So, yes. Ofcourse. You can take admission. You don't need to wait for last round. You will get before that as per first counselling list. Visit www.thapar.edu for more information. Regards.

With this rank , the best you can get Mechanical or EEE in the NIT's other than top four that is VSNIT , MVNIT , MANIT , NIT - Jamshedpur , NIT - Surathkal , NIT durgapur . Though , you have a good rank , I would suggest you to chose better college with better stream , that is focus on college and stream both equally . Best of luck
