70% seats are filled through university level counselling based on marks obtained in class 10+2 and rank obtained in JEE Mains. Selection parameter and weightage:
10+2 marks - 75%
JEE Mains - 25%
Remaining 30% seats are filled by the university based on the marks obtained in class 10+2.

I hope you are doing well. In every state, there are colleges who take admissions in 2 or 3 counselling though JEE Mains and 4th counselling is on the basis of 12th class marks. You can directly go to any college (home state) and take the admission on 12th basis. Also, in every state (almost) self CET happened where you can appear and get admission through the score.

In case you don't get a good college on the basis of this rank, then you can opt for some of the good private universities like Lovely, SRM, VIT, etc. Offering various specializations in B.Tech.
