Every year several candidates appears in the JEE Main Exam this year too around 10 Lacs students appeared the last year cutoff for JEE Main was as follows
General- 81 Marks
OBC - 49 Marks
SC- 32 Marks

In Thapar, most of the students came from entrance exam conducted by Thapar University. While if you want to take admission in Thapar from your JEE Mains score card, then you have to secure at least 160 marks if you are from general category.
