JEE Mains cut-off trends:
2017-81 marks
2016-100 marks
2015-105 marks
2014-115 marks
2013-113 marks
Anything above this you should qualify for counselling in govt. engineering colleges. As competition is fierce, you should secure high marks to qualify for the merit list of the top NITs.
Here are the most important factors that help derive JEE Main Cut off each year:
Total number of appeared candidates
Difficulty level of exam
Previous year cutoff
Number of available seats
Overall performance of the candidate

For computer science in Jamia, you need to score at least 180 marks in JEE Mains 2018 and there is absolutely no problem with the crowd. There are many hindu students in my class and there are no such differences between people on the basis of their religion.

50% of the intake is through ACPC which uses GUJCET's ranks and the remaining 50% is through JEE Mains ranks, where in you have to fill a separate application to join the college.

It depends upon cut-off. But according to this year, the cutoff were 81.
So, 160 is not enough for CSE in top NITs.
But, you can GFTIS and good state government colleges.

First of all, scoring 69% in Boards when you're aiming for Top IITs of India doesn't bode well. You have to improve your HS score as well as crack JEE (Mains and Advanced) to ensure a seat in the desired IIT. The JEE Advanced Cut-off this year for various IITs in terms of opening ranks suggests that one needs to land a Rank somewhere near 1000. It is quite hard to get admissions in the prestigious IITs hence their fame.

Hello Mahesh,
Normally, every state has common entrance test for admission to engineering colleges. Hence it's only CET through which you can get admission. Similarly for admissions to NITs it's JEE Mains which is the qualifying exam.
