It is quite difficult to get seat through counselling, as your score is not affective. And, on the same way getting seat in civil is not possible. You may try for management quota. If you are in Mumbai region, then Dutta Megha will be the good option.

Cut-off marks states that if you have that marks or above that marks, then you have successfully qualified the exam. In JEE Mains, if you have a score more than or equal to the cut-off, then you are qualified to sit for JEE Advanced. For all the other entrances, it depends. Some give rankings to only those candidates who have marks more than cut off marks.

Hello Sitharth,
You can get admission at SASTRA University but I think your chances to get mechanical engineering are low. So, you may try in the counselling round with the Trichy rank of 207.
All the best.

Hello Trishna,
The admission in SASTRA University is not based on JEE Mains score only. Your board exam percentage and JEE Mains marks will be put together and then you will get admission.
with this score, if your board exam percentage is 90 or above then you may get a seat.

Hello Bhavya Sri,
There is no particular cut-off score for admission into SASTRA University, but if your board exam percentage is at least 97% then there is no need for JEE Mains score.
But if your percentage is 90% then your JEE Mains score should be at least 50% or more to get a seat.

Hello Shahid,
Your chances are really high to get ECE with 98.1% in board exam and 116 in JEE Mains. The tuition fee structure is 55,000/- per semester and the hostel fees will be around 10000-15000/- per annum and mess fee will be a maximum of 10000/- only.
So for a year, the overall fees will be 1,50,000-1,80,000 INR only.

Hello Nitheesh,
Yes, surely, you can get a seat at SASTRA University, Thanjavur. You also have really good chances to get a top course like CSE, ECE, etc. Try for the same in the counselling.
All the best.
