Your daughter managed to score very well in her boards and Jee Mains. However, according to her rank, there is some chance for BIT-Mesra, but it will be better for her to take a break and prepare well for next year, she will really get best the colleges next year with a little push.
All the best.

138 marks in JEE Mains exam can give you admission in good govt. colleges but for NIT you have to wait for last rounds of counselling. Little chances are there also(in NIT) because you can get some relaxation based on your category.

Your percentile will be 1040(0.75)+35(0.25)=73.7 . On this basis you will be placed on a rank. The last date is June 10 and they will be releasing the rank list so you can check your possibility.
But you can get a seat and there medium chances to get ECE and EEE.
