Hello Mr. Ranga,
yes he can get a seat for ECE at SASTRA University. The marks of board exams are not actually considered only the percentage of marks are considered and then converted into percentile along with JEE Main scores.
For example, his performance will be evaluated as follows: 103(0.25)+95.5(0.75)= 97.375.
So on this basis he will be placed on a rank. The last date is June 10 . so may be on or after that only rank list will be released.
The website for applying is www.sastra.edu . apply through stream 1 as he has appeared for JEE main exam.
All the best!

Hello Vani, yes you can get admission SASTRA University, Thanjavur with 102 marks in JEE Main and 934 marks in board exam.
You need to apply through stream 1. The website is www.sastra.edu and the last date is June 10 .
They will convert your marks into percentile and then put the ranks. It will be as follows: say if you have got 102 in JEE and 90% in boards then 102(0.25)+90(0.75)=93. note that , your percentage in boards is calculated not your marks. There is no need to apply separately for stream 2 if you have applied for stream 1.
You can surely get admission through stream 1 so apply as soon as possible.
All the best!

For Year 2017, it is MHT-CET that is applicable for Engineering Admissions in Maharashtra. From Year 2018, there will be only one National Exam(JEE). In JEE, a score of 80-90 is well enough to get you a seat in any Branch of DPCOE. In MHT-CET, a score of 80-90 is well enough. You can also get a TFWS seat. You can also approach college website for more information.

It depends upon the counselling of university. There are around 1240 seats in the B. Tech/BE courses at Thapar University. To be considered for Thapar University B.Tech Admission 2017 candidates will also have to meet the eligibility criteria set by the admissions committee, which will specify the needed academic qualification, pass percentage that will be acceptable, nationality, age and lastly the JEE Main scores obtained in 2017.

You scored good marks in JEE and in 12th board. I want to suggest you to try to take admission in any NIT if you've got admission there than your life will fully secure and if not, then you can apply in any government college for B.Tech.

Getting a NIT is only possible when you belong to SC or ST but otherwise, it is not possible. But, you can easily get admission in private colleges and can try for government colleges. Or, you can drop for preparation of IIT and can get even IIT college.
Best of luck.
