The concession is available to PWD in cutoffs. Normally cutoffs are lower than normal, but then you have to be in higher strata of rank. For top NITs, you need to score around 300.

I think from next year there will be only one Pan India entrance test for engineering on lines of NEET for medical. How it's going to affect ranking nobody knows! I advise to concentrate only on studies and don't pay attention to these things.

Different scores are required for different NIT's. Older and famous colleges require higher while those who have yet to show mettle require less. Around 250 is required to get admission and around 300 for better institute.

It may be changed for this year. Because it is dependent on paper, candidates strength, category, etc.

Thapar is nationally recognized college and you need much more than what you mentioned to get admission in that college. With such good marks in 12th, what happened in JEE Mains?

Do not worry. Ask yourself a question, with such low marks in JEE Mains, is it worth going for engineering? I would advise you to look for commerce or humanities and then go for MBA or specialised PG diploma.

HBTI has a good name in market and placement cell is also apparently working well. As per my information, close to 100% placement is achieved in this institute.

I don't know how but your question has come to me almost 7 months after posting. Admission process involves registering after results of JEE Mains are declared. You need to score about 270 for admission here.

The requirement of minimum marks in 12th is the requirement of the state board. To this extent, you should be clear. 50% seats are through JEE Mains & other 50% through CET by Gujarat.
