Hello Abhijit,
To get admission in any engineering college of Maharashtra barring perhaps IIT - B and VNIT – Nagpur is through MHT-CET. Hence, you need to appear for this entrance exam, if you want to get admission in Symbiosis.

Dear Prakhar,
Our admission is not based on JEE score. Only candidates who appear for Amrita Entrance Exam 2017 will be eligible for B.Tech admission in Amrita based on their rank.

Hello Amey,
Admissions to VJTI are based in MH-CET and not on JEE Mains, as some people are thinking. Earlier once when MH CET was not conducted in that marks of JEE Mains and 12th marks were added in some ratio to form a merit list for admissions. However, since MH CET is going to be conducted this year, JEE Mains has no relevance.

Your rank should be under 700 to get best colleges if you are in open category. And, if not then for SC or ST with 15k rank, you can get best college. For OBC, it is 10k.

Marks in boards doesn't aren't going to affect your rank from this year. And, if you've got 196, your rank is under 13k you will get any good NITs.

Hello Vaibhav,
DTU is one of the best ranked institutes and you desire admission in most sought after branch. Do not begin with how much minimum you need to score. Ask yourself, what should you do to get maximum marks in JEE Mains. Have great dream and aim for it. It's law of nature that you end up scoring less than what you aim for.
Best wishes

Hello Siddharth,
If you are not from Delhi, you have to be in perhaps top ten percentile of JEE Mains for getting admission in Delhi. If you are from Delhi, even if you score less, you have chances of getting admission. In addition, renowned college will have tough competition. I will advise you to consider this and study well.
Best wishes.
