If you are not from Delhi, you have to be in perhaps top ten percentile of JEE Mains for getting admission in Delhi. If you are from Delhi, even if you score less, you have chances of getting admission. In addition, renowned college will have tough competition. I will advise you to consider this and study well.
Best wishes.

As per information available, JEE Mains is not the exam for admission to any of the four campuses of Amrita. They conduct entrance test themselves. So, if your aim is for admission in any one of the four campuses, you will have to appear for this entrance. I am attaching link for more information:-

There is one NIT per state. Few NIT's particularly old ones are quite sought after and obviously one needs to have a higher percentile to get admission there. However, newly opened NIT's are still low on the priority of most students and you can get admission with lower percentile. It is expected that if you can score 50% you can get admission in one of the NIT's. However, for getting subject and place of your choice, you need to score more than 75%.
Best wishes!

DCRUST has a good reputation in Haryana but on all India level, it's low in priority of students. However, this would be of advantage to you because if you score reasonably well in JEE Mains then you are likely to get a branch of your choice. However, from this year onwards marks of 12th are not going to be considered and hence past data is of no use. I guess if you get 50 percentile then you have bright chances.

Normally, scores of JEE Mains are utilized by IIT's, NIT's and GFI's for admission. However, some state governments along with few deemed universities have also started accepting this score. The full list of institutions accepting JEE Mains score is available on the website of JEE Mains. I will advise you to check it from this website.

Eligibility to appear for JEE Mains is obtaining 75 % in 12th or equivalent. Eligibility to appear for JEE Advanced is to score more than cutoff announced at the time if declaration of results of JEE Mains.
I hope I have been able to satisfy your query.
Best wishes.

MIT, Pune nowadays admits students based only on MHT CET. So, appearing in JEE Mains will not make you eligible to get admission in MIT. However, option of getting admission via management quota still remains.
