Hello,. There is nothing like eligibility marks for seeking admission in the best university of petroleum engineering in JEE Mains for JEE Advanced. JEE Mains examination is conducted for screening students for admissions into NIT and those institutions which are centrally funded, while JEE Advanced is conducted for admissions into IIT. For getting admission in the best university of petroleum engineering you will have to go and have a look at this university's website and SEE what eligibility criteria as they have mentioned and proceed accordingly. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sarthak,
In the state of Maharashtra, admissions to the engineering colleges are based on the entrance exam conducted by the state government called MHT CET. The admissions are normally not based on JEE Mains. However there is a miniscule quota called all India quota which is filled up based on JEE Mains results. Unfortunately the cutoff under this in different colleges is just not known. In view of this I would recommend you that if you are interested in admission in an engineering college in Maharashtra, you should appear for MHT CET and not only JEE Mains.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Preet, I hope you have mentioned in the percentile and not the result in absolute terms. What is of most important is the ranking and not even the percentile. I am sure you know your ranking in this examination. For your help I am attaching a college predictor which will predict the possibility of you getting your desired college based on your percentile / ranking in JEE Mains. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor
