Hello,
I can understand your angst. With over 11L students appearing for the exam, and seats being limited. However, since last year admissions to IIT & NIT are not based on marks obtained but percentile score. This is so since the entrance exam is now conducted online with multiple sessions and twice in a year. Hence percentile is the best scientific answer. You need to score 90 or more percentile for a shot at admission. Best wishes to you.

Hi,
The NCERT books are sufficient to get good marks in board's Mains and MHT CET. In MHT CET the questions are at basic level and in NCERT books content is little at advanced level. So, the student of CBSE board can easily score good if his concept are clear.
