Yes, there are several prestigious colleges in India that primarily consider JEE Main scores for admissions, without heavily weighing board examination percentages. While these institutions offer admission to various prestigious colleges, they typically do not include the top IITs in their selection process.

No, you cannot apply for BTech at BIT Mesra without JEE Main score. According to the web search results, the admission criterion for BTech at BIT Mesra is based on AIR in JEE Main through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) / JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Therefore, you need to appear for JEE Main and score above the cut-off marks for the BTech programme of your choice at BIT Mesra. You can visit the official website of BIT Mesra for more details and updates on the admission process.

To get into BTech at IIIT Hyderabad, you need to score very high in JEE Main exam, as the cutoff ranks are quite competitive. The JEE Main cutoff for IIIT Hyderabad in 2023 was in the range of 839 to 2211 for general category. The cutoff for 2024 is not yet announced, but you can expect it to be similar or slightly higher than the previous year. You can check the round-wise and course-wise JEE Main cutoff for IIIT Hyderabad on their website.

Yes. The authorities will consider JEE Main scores for admissions into the BTech courses offered by the University. If the candidate has a valid JEE Main score, then they will not be required to attempt and qualify SUNET. Only those candidates who have not qualified JEE Main can attempt SUNET and secure the scores required for admission.
