With a JEE Main rank of 210124, getting a seat in top-tier NITs or IIITs may be difficult, but you still have options for government colleges, particularly if you belong to a reserved category or qualify under the home state quota. Here are some possibilities:State Government Engineering Colleges: Many states have engineering colleges that accept JEE Main ranks. For instance, you may explore colleges under state-level counseling in states like Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, or Uttar Pradesh.Home State Quota in NITs: If your home state has an NIT and your category benefits you, you might get admission to branches with lower demand,

Inconsistent names across documents, like your 10th and 12th marksheets, can sometimes cause confusion during the admission process. However, it generally won't directly affect your JEE 2025 admission, as long as you have supporting documents to clarify the discrepancy. To avoid any issues, it's advisable to:Provide an affidavit: You can submit an affidavit or a gazette notification stating that both names refer to the same person.Check with authorities: Before your JEE application, contact the exam authority or the college for guidance and to ensure all your documents are in order. It's always better to clarify these discrepancies well

Admission to the B.Tech Mathematics and Computing program at IISc (Indian Institute of Science) through JEE Mains typically requires a high rank, as IISc is one of the premier institutes in India. While the exact cutoff varies each year based on factors like the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability, a rank within the top 250-300 is generally considered competitive. For JEE Mains 2025, it will be good to aim for a percentile above 99 to improve your chances of admission. IISc considers other entrance exams like JEE Advanced, KVPY, or NEET for admissions, so exploring multiple options may also be helpf

Hi,Based on my opinion:1. Official Websites: You may find the JEE Mains previous year papers through the official websites of NTA, nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in, free of charge.2. Online Portals: edtech portals provide not just papers but also solutions, and mock tests to make studying less strenuous.3. Books and Guides: Handy books with solved papers and explanations by popular publishers like Arihant and Disha to practice offline at one's own pace.

BTech is one of the most desired courses present in India. BTech being the most preferred course, has the highest level of competition. JEE Main is the commonly accepted entrance exam for admission to the BTech course. Similarly, IIEST Shibpur also accepts JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech course. Students must foresee the coming cut by looking at the past year's cut-off details so that preparation can be done accordingly.

If your JEE Main rank falls between 3 to 5 lakhs, you can explore private engineering colleges in Jharkhand and nearby states. In Jharkhand, colleges affiliated with universities like Ranchi University or Kolhan University often consider such ranks for admission. Some private colleges may also offer direct admission based on JEE Main scores or their internal criteria. Nearby states like Bihar, Odisha, or West Bengal might have similar private institutions open to your rank range. Focus on colleges known for good infrastructure, placements, and faculty. Check their official websites or contact the admission offices to understand th

This has a very high difficulty for gaining admission into a CS branch in government colleges with an AIR 390,256 and EWS rank of 59,719 in JEE Mains, which would be very tough at premier NITs and IIITs whose cut-offs are pretty high in such cases for CS though there remain scopes, and that are State Government Engineering Colleges. Most of the state government engineering colleges hold some seats in reserve for students of the same state. So the prospects of getting a seat are relatively brighter for people who fall under any specific state.State Entrance Exams: A few states conduct entrance exams, and those are student intakes specifi
