IIIT Allahabad cutoff is based on JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling. Going as per the past three year trends candidates can expect the closing ranks for IIIT Allahabad JEE Main cutoff 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment for top specialisations between the following range: B.Tech. in Information Technology must range between 5092 and 5924.B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering must range between 9195 and 11370.B.Tech. in Information Technology (Business Informatics) must range between 5703 and 6587.

It is not mandatory to attend or to appear for both the sessions of JEE Mains examination. National testing agency has already clarified about this. However there is advantage for the student. Even if a student appears for both the sessions his best results in either of the sessions will be considered for finding out his final results for declaration of percentile and ranking. However, in case of many students due to circumstances perhaps beyond their means they sometimes are not able to appear for a session. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 32555 and closing rank was 40065 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Electronics & Communication Engineering (Embedded Systems and Internet of Things) in IIIT Ranchi is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per IIIT Ranchi JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 32560 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. IIIT Ranchi BTech cutoff 2023 is based on JEE Main scores followed by JoSAA Counselling, which has been concluded after Round 6 Seat Allotmnet results. JoSAA Counselling is released for multiple BTech specialisations, including BTech in Computer Science Engineering.
