Punjabi University cutoff for BTech are based on entrance exam scores such as JEE Main. The university offers admission to a various specialisations of BTech courses. For admission to the BTech course at Punjabi University, it is mandatory for candidates to have valid JEE Main scores. Only candidates who qualify JEE Mains scores are eligible for further admission process. After the entrance exams, candidates can called for the counselling process on the basis of the ranks. Further merit lists are issued for the shortlisted candidates who have qualified for the entrance exams and secured admission to the university.

Panjab University cutoff for BE course is based on JEE Main scores. The counselling concluded after the relase of Round 5. Candidates looking forward to Panjab University admissions must have a valid score in JEE Main in order to be eligible for further process. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 1147 and closing rank was 1509 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2086 and 2086. Admission to Computer Science Engineering in NIT Trichy is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

No, admission at National Institute of Technology Patna to a BTech programme is done only on the basis of merit in JEE Main. The seat allotment process is carried out through JoSAA counselling. There is no other provision for admission. Further, candidates seeking admission must also check the eligibility requirements for JEE Main before filling out the application form.

As per the sequence of subject/section in JEE Main, Mathematics is the first section followed by Physics and Chemistry. However, students have the option of appearing questions from any section based on their preference. During the actual exam, students are provided the instructions on the computer screen to navigate between one section to other. Students also have the option to skip the next question without appearing the current as well as moving back to the previous question.
