In case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for some mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. Hello,
Hope you are doing well. It's quite tough to get NIT with 1853 OBC rank but there is a possibility you will get it because the ranks of NITs limits to 2000.
Hope for the best.
Do apply for B.Arch admission at NIT-Calicut.
All the best.

Hello,
Hope you are doing well. No, there isn't any college which gives admission on the basis of 12th marks for architecture. Every college needs at least your appearance in NATA. NATA is a compulsory examination and also only a few colleges offer admission through JEE Mains paper 2. So, in order to get admission, you need to take NATA.

Yes, it is possible to get into an NIT with that score. You have to wait for the final round. The branch specification would not be sure but a decent NIT is not a hard deal at this score.
All the best.
