For a general candidate from another state, only spot round may get you to JMI.
Though the scenario may get easy for home state, Muslim, OBC and women students.
Still, you have got good marks, do not lose hope.

Yes, you can get into NIT - Raipur, Nagpur, Surat, Bhopal, Silchar, Jamshedpur, Durgapur, and Kurukshetra with mostly biotech, civil and chemical branches.
Though you can also opt for non-technical branches such as mining and metallurgy.
Best of luck.

No, JMI offers diverse options to students from various castes to get admission. Moreover, being general and from a different state, you should score a minimum of 270 marks to choose your desired branch. Best of luck.

Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 1

No, admission in JJ College of Architecture is through your NATA marks and board percentage combined. The average of both will lead your name to their merit list. Also, JEE Mains is not applicable there.

No, your admission in NITs is purely through JEE Mains marks, be it paper one or two. Also, you need to qualify the minimum board percentage too.
