Yes, you have a good score but it is not enough to get into any SPA or NIT. You have to get approx. 99 or above to get into any of the colleges I mentioned. Try hard in the April examination to secure the spot.

Your expected JEE Main rank is above 19000. While for admission in NITs, The rank should be below 2000. hence the admission chances for NITs and SPAs are very less . However your friend have another chance for improvement in April-2020. So ask him to improve his JEE Main percentile up to 98 for better options.

Paper-2 is of three hours duration and consists of thirty multiple-choice (single-correct) questions in each of the three subjects (physics, chemistry, and maths). 4 marks are awarded for correct answers and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers.

There will be separate papers for B.Arch and B. Planning this year. B.Arch paper will be of 400 marks in total consisting of 77 questions. Marks can vary every year as per patter till now you should gain a rank min 600 in SC category for admission in NITs.
