Not at all. For getting NIT-Rourkela, you have to secure a rank with AIR 1500, which needs above 240 marks in JEE Mains paper 2.

Yes you can surely get admission in NIT Rourkela as well as other NITs as you have scored a good rank in any preferred branch depending upon your choice. The placements here are good. The companies come and accept the students with good packages. PSUs recruit with the highest packages. Renowned companies visit the campus.
