Hello Pankaj,
Preparing for JEE Advanced is like preparing for a good quality entrance exam. Questions here are invariably application based and unless concepts are well known, it's difficult to pass. There are indeed u tube videos but they are of limited value. Don't worry. There are enough students who have got admission in IIT without any coaching class.

It is a better idea if you start your JEE preparations from the class 8th or 9th because there are many subjects and competitive olympiads and exams being conducted class 7th onwards in which you can participate and learn a lot of things. Also, you can enter the group of an elite category of students which are hired by various coaching institutes and provided with the high-class preparation methods for JEE Mains for free. The best way for the preparation of JEE Mains along with boards is through linking their syllabus.
What one needs to know is the common aspects from the point of view of both the exams.
Most of the time, students make mistakes and study the same topic thrice from Mains perspective followed by Advanced and boards exams.
For that, take an example of thermodynamics, first read your school textbooks thoroughly then go through with your coaching notes and ask all the doubts related to your topic.
After that, go through your textbook questions, both subjective and objective.

Exam Pattern of B.Arch. JEE: B. Arch is a 3 hours exam based on Mathematics, Aptitude and a Drawing/Sketching Test. Since maths is a core subject, most coaching centers would have included maths in their mode of learning.

True that even with self-study, you can achieve anything. In this case, clear the JEE Mains, but that doesn't mean it is the easier of the two alternatives. Coaching makes life easier for its students, and contrary to the popular opinion it does not have to be a nightmarish experience. And it will definitely improve your rank.

Yes, there are no restrictions on students to prepare for JEE provided they fulfil the criteria for JEE exams. The eligibility for JEE is as follows:
Basic eligibility:
Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
NRIs, PIOs, OCIs & Foreign national candidates can also apply.
Number of Attempts: Candidates can apply for JEE Mains exam only three times. This attempt limit will be counted from 2017.
Aadhaar Card is compulsory to apply for this exam.
Age criteria:
Age limit: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October 1993 (for general and OBC candidates) are eligible to apply.
