Hi there,
I have the same resolutions and I'll also give my SAT in 2019. Here's what you should do; if you are a resident of Delhi, you are lucky. Just join Vidyamandir Classes or FIITJEE-South Delhi and do not attend school. Simultaneously, work on your vocabulary and get enrolled in the Princeton review at New Delhi. Do like the answer if you found it helpful.

If you are not confident of cracking JEE, B.Tech CSE in an international university is an excellent option provided you can afford it.

Hi,
There are many books for JEE Mains preparations. But I think you should join an institute for better guidance. And a tip for you, for every single chapter, go through the previous year's JEE Mains questions which will give you an idea. Many questions will clear your misconceptions.
Good luck.

First of all you need to understand the concepts of NCERT books on your fingertips once you are done through this or after finishing a lesson you want some extra information and dozens of MCQ's then you can refer the mentioned standard books:
Physics - Concepts of physics by H. C. Verma volume 1 and 2.
Chemistry - Pradeep or Dinesh publication volume 1 and 2 of each theory and objectives.

For JEE preparation, NCERT books are the base so never forget this and for MCQ you may take MTG or TMH publication books which are the best for JEE preparation.

Hello Keshav,
There are certain number of attempts for JEE Mains and Advanced. There are 3 attempts for JEE Mains and 2 attempts for JEE Advanced.
So, if you have appeared only once, then you may have to discontinue B.Sc if you qualify JEE Mains and Advanced in the second attempt.

Yes, why not. You can do B.Tech in private college after your class 12th and JEE equivalent preparation as the syllabus for engineering is similar as JEE but only in 1st semester.

Hello Ankush,
Most of the people prefer to prepare itself only so don't get dishearten and work hard, and regarding books, you can choose Cengage and Arihant Publications books for both physics and maths and for chemistry books like NCERT, Top Tandon, Ranjit Shahi, etc.

IIT is not the only way forward. You can always succeed from nowhere. But IIT helps you grow as an individual. If that is what you really want, drop a year. I personally feel, it is difficult to concentrate and getting through JEE after joining an engineering programme but there are people who have done it earlier. My personal advice would be to drop in case you are that desperate. You need to look at the cost of wasting a year in case you get complacent again. Looking at the other side of it if you get into CU you will mostly get complacent and continue with what you got than going after the bigger dream.
All the best.
