Bioengineering is a branch of engineering which needs knowledge of biology and math. So only those students are selected who have a strong foundation in math and biology as well as in chemistry. A neet student prepares only for PCB but he/she can take math as an additional subject in class 12th to learn the math as IITJEE students take bio as an additional subject to get admission in bio engineering.

As the cut-off depends on the branch, category and IIIT, but generally to get admission in lower IIIT 120 marks should be there but if you wish to get seat in top IIITs then more than 150 would be required. So, plan and prepare accordingly so that you can get admission in your desired college.

Yes you may obviously get admission this way, it is called lateral entry, but the fact is that would require a hige sum of money, and if you can afford that the it is well and good.

No, I am sorry to say but JNU does no take admission simply based on your 12th marks. It is not in their rules. So you need to appear for JNUEE and mind, it is not at all that tough. Prepare well and you will crack it.
