I guess, probably you may get the admission, because ECE is the second most competitive department after CSE. You have a fair chance to bio related departments.

It will depend upon the NIT reputation or how old is that NIT is. By the way, don't take tension. You will definitely get the college of government only. You can get the MNNIT Allahabad, NIT Patna, etc. like this, you get at the counselling.

If you have cleared the JEE Mains cut-off then it could be possible. But if you have not cleared the cut-off, you may or may not, but you may get a government college of your state.

For DU, there is a separate form as JEE Mains counselling is for B.Tech courses and DU is for B.Sc. For NSIT, there is a separate form that you need to fill.
