They consider JEE rank + boards mark for admission though your % in 10th and 12th should be equal to or greater than 60 percent if your rank is less than 3 Lacs in JEE Mains or less than 50k in UPSEE than you need not to write there entrance exam else yo have to write SUAT. It depends upon your category if one is of OBC then he/she will BET getting the IIIT, NIT, etc. But if one is from general category then you might get any NIT. But it depends upon the cutoff of JEE Mains 2018. Since the result is not released yet I can't say about the seat allotment procedure. It may vary this year. If the cutoff is low then chances will increase but otherwise it will be hard for general category.

With your score you can apply to MNIT, Jaipur. It is the best college for every engineering branch but you should also have good marks in 12th.
