Since you have only 38%ine in JEE, you need to work a lot harder to achieve your goal. And not only hard work, you need to do smart work as well. Follow the steps, and you will definitely perform well.
1. Be Familiar with the Syllabus. One of the first things that you need to accomplish is to be familiar with the JEE Main 2020 Syllabus.
2. Follow a Proper Study Time Table.
3. Refer to Some of the Best Books for preparation and you can take coaching as well.
4. Solve a lot of Previous Year Papers.
5. Ensure Small Breaks During Preparation.
6. Stay Healthy and Motivated. All the best.

It's always better to enter JEE percentile, to gain more attention in forms, but if your percentile is less, and is not required to mention, then don't.

Yes, the required marks in IPE is 965 and JEE Main that is required is 150 marks and as the eligibility cross you can get CSE in sastra and the placements of this university is very good, so that you can become successful.
