To calculate your JEE B.Arch rank, you have to wait for the All India Rank (AIR) list to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The rank is determined based on your percentile score and the exam performance of other candidates. Once the AIR list is published, you will find your rank corresponding to your percentile. Keep an eye on the JEE official website and related notifications for updates on the placement notification.

With a JEE Mains rank of 4.5 Lacs and an EWS rank of 70,000, consider colleges like Chandigarh University, Punjab Engineering College (PEC) and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET). Although getting into top institutions can be difficult at this value, these colleges offer quality education and decent internship opportunities. Research their entry criteria, thresholds and fee structures. Also check Punjab State Engineering Colleges and Private Institutes for Admissions.

Admission to IITs is primarily based on the JEE Advanced rank which you can take if you qualify in the JEE Mains. The percentile score in JEE Mains determines your eligibility to appear for JEE Advanced. To get into IITs you need to clear the JEE Advanced with a good rank. With your 85.3 percentile in JEE Mains, it is more realistic to consider NITs, IIITs and other top engineering colleges under JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) for which your JEE Mains score is directly relevant. Here are some institutes you might consider:1) NIT Warangal2) NIT Trichy (Tiruchirappalli)3) NIT Surathkal4) NIT Calicut5) NIT Rourkela6) NIT Durgapur7

Unfortunately, admission to any National Institute of Technology (NIT) is not possible if you have a score of 74.18 percentile in JEE Mains. To get admission at NIT, a candidate must have a score of 90 percentile or above in the JEE Mains exam. The eligibility criteria are the same for appearing in the JEE advanced exam.
