Yes, the JEE main result is used to determine admissions to the IIIT Pune BTech program. However, candidates must also achieve other eligibility requirements, one of which is achieving a minimum of 75% in class 12. In other words, the candidate needs to have received at least 75% of the possible marks in their class 12 board exam from an accredited board or university.

The exact calculation of percentile in JEE Mains is done by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and isn't publicly available. However, the percentile score for each candidate is calculated based on their rank. Here's a simplified formula (but not the exact method used by NTA):Percentile = (Number of candidates with lower rank / Total number of candidates) * 100

Yes, you can take admission to IGIT Sarangana with 68% in JEE Mains. The expected IGIT Sarang cutoff for the 2024 academic year is  123275 - 123285 for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch, and 243890 - 243900 for Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering which can estimated to 60-70 percentile range in JEE Main 2024. But this is only estimated cut-off not exact cut-off. I hope it will help.
