A valid national or state-level entrance exam score and meeting the institute's minimal eligibility requirements are prerequisites for admission to IIIT Pune. A minimum of 50% in 10+2 is required for admission to Anna University's BE programme, in addition to taking the TNEA. Graduates in BE typically earn between 4.5 and 5.5 LPA, with the potential to reach 8 LPA. For BE/BTech admission, Anna University does not accept JEE Main marks; instead, admission is determined by TNEA counselling. Backward class students at Anna University are granted a 15% reservation in BE, along with other waivers for fee and minimum mark relaxations. Because of its breadth and employment prospects, biomedical engineering is the most popular engineering department at Anna University. For Tamil Nadu students, there is an additional cost reduction; nevertheless, verification of the residence certificate is necessary.
