With a 53 percentile in JEE Mains, it would be very difficult to get admission to the CS branch in any government college. The key points are:A JEE Mains percentile of 53 is considered quite low, as the cutoffs for government colleges like NITs and IIITs are typically much higher, often in the range of 90-99 percentile. Candidates with a 53 percentile in JEE Mains would struggle to get admission even in private engineering colleges, let alone the highly competitive government institutions. Government colleges, especially for the coveted CS branch, have very high cutoffs and admit only the top-performing candidates in JEE Mains

The DCRUST Sonipat ECE branch may be difficult to get into with an OBC rank of 403027 in JEE Mains 2024, though admission requirements can change every year. The seats available in the college also change every year so accordingly the percentage varies each year. For the most precise details, I would advise consulting the university's admissions guidelines so that you get accurate information about the admission process and ranking and other stuff.

With an SC category rank of 54316 in JEE Mains, you can expect admission to colleges like National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, NIT Raipur, and NIT Hamirpur. These NITs typically have cutoff ranks in the range of 50,000 to 60,000 for the SC category. Additionally, you may also be able to secure admission in some of the newer Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) with this rank. However, the exact college options will depend on the availability of seats and the final cutoff ranks for the academic year.

With a rank of 800,000 in JEE Mains and 50% marks, the chances of getting into a government college are very low. It is advisable to explore private colleges that accept admissions with such ranks. You are advised to visit JEE Main Rank Predictor 2024: Calculate JEE Rank From Percentile/Score to check for the college that you can get with your rank.

Based on your cutoff marks, i think you can only get the mechanical branch at Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology. Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology admission is merit based for programmes offered at UG and PG levels. The duration for UG courses provided by Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology ranges between 3 - 4 years and the same for PG courses falls between 2 - 3 years.

It may not be possible to get into the top IIITs with this score. You can go through the college predictor regarding this but 94% is a very good score in 2024. But you can still get into some good IIITs with this score like, IIIT Pune, IIIT Bhubaneswar, IIIT Lucknow, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Ranchi, and IIIT Kottayam.

With a rank of 5.5 lakh in JEE Mains, securing a seat in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch at top-tier institutions might be challenging, and actually there are very less number of colleges for B.Tech CSE with 5.5 lakh rank in JEE Mains, like NIT Jalandhar, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Goa, IIT Manipur, IIT Kalyani, etc. You can find some colleges with this rank.

With a 96 percentile in JEE Mains and belonging to the OBC category, you have good chances of securing admission to various colleges. Some potential options include NIT Raipur, NIT Agartala, and NIT Goa for branches like Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering.Additionally, other government colleges also accept this percentile range for admission into popular specializations like Mechanical, Civil, and Chemical Engineering.
