Yes, you are eligible to give JEE Mains while in 12th class. Students who will be taking their Class 12 exams in the year 2024 will be eligible to apply for JEE Mains. All you need to do is check the eligibility criteria under which Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects. Also, remember you might need a minimum % in your Class 12 to enroll into different engineering colleges after.

If you have AIR of 229000 and EWS rank of 36900 in JEE Mains, you can try for NIT Trichy which has opening rank of CS engineering at 1147. The other choices include ICT Mumbai offering Bachelor of Chemical Engineering course with a cutoff rank 1345 and Jadavpur University for BE Computer Science and Engineering with cutoff rank 52. Yes you can get as Students with a JEE Main rank of around 3500 have a fair chance of getting admission to Top NITs for BTech ECE Admission. The category-wise JEE Main 2024 cutoff is 93.2362181 for General, 79.6757881 for OBC, 81.3266412 for EWS, 60.0923182 for SC, 46.6975840 for ST and 0.0018700 for PwD categories.You can try connecting to the officials for the addmission process or try next year with a better rank.
