To get admission to the B.Tech programs at SLIET University, candidates typically need to appear for the JEE Main exam, and the cutoff is determined based on their performance. The exact cutoff varies yearly depending on factors like the number of applicants and their exam performance. SLIET also considers scores from their own entrance exam, depending on the course, but JEE Main scores are a common route for B.Tech admission.

Yes, admission to Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) Ludhiana is possible without the JEE exam, depending on the admission process for specific courses. GNDEC admits students through multiple pathways, including state-level entrance exams and merit-based admissions. In Punjab, students can apply through the Punjab Technical University (PTU) counseling process, where admission is often based on Class 12 marks or other state-level exams like CET.

Given your 979 intermediate exam grades and 89 percentile JEE Mains scores, you stand a good chance of being accepted into SASTRA Universitys Computer Science Engineering (CSE) programme in Thanjavur. There are two routes for admissions:Stream 1: Comprising normalised 12th marks (75%) and the JEE Mains (25%) accounts for 70% of seats.Stream 2: Covering the remaining 30% based only on 12th grade grades. The merit-based requirements of Stream 1 are adequately met by your scores. But there is fierce rivalry for CSE, and the final admission results rely on the total number of applicants and the cutoffs

You might have trouble getting admitted to competitive branches like the CSE at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) Noida if your JEE Mains score was 64 percentile and your CBSE Class 12 score was 70%. Historically higher JEE Mains scores—typically in the 90–95 percentile or more—have been necessary for the admission to the prestigious branches like CSE. However, there may be a chance to get admitted to similar fields like IT or ECE, depending on the cutoff trends, seats available, and counselling rounds for that particular year.Your outstanding success in the tenth grade (96%) gives your academic profile more weigh

No, a colored photo uploaded rather than a black-and-white photo in the JEE Mains form usually doesn't create any problem at the counseling process, if your photo is according to guidelines-clear background, right size, and the latest one. Usually, both colored and black-and-white photos are allowed. Still, you keep a copy of the same photo that you upload. And keep your documents in order too.If concerned, you may call the NTA- National Testing Agency helpline for confirmation, but such small variations are not likely to cause any problem.
