With a JEE percentile of 40, the options for admission to engineering colleges are very limited. You would probably not get admission in NITs or IIITs, but you could think about private engineering colleges or state-level institutions. You would probably look at lower-tier private colleges that take higher ranks or management quota seats. The other options are colleges that take students based on intermediate merit. Institutions in States like Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh may also have openings. Always check the specific admission criteria and processes for each college during counseling.

You can see that, with a JEE percentile of 51 and a rank of 729,689, B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering may not be a choice for you. The private college or university which is the lower-tier option might allow higher ranks. The following may be the choices available to you: Shivaji University, especially for its engineering courses, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, where you may get the course that you are interested in studying, and PES University. It is prudent to engage in counseling process and explore available seats in various engineering disciplines since various colleges have different cutoffs.

With a 72 percentile in JEE Mains, you may have a fair chance of getting a seat in a few NITs, and this is not a guaranteed possibility as a rank around 286,000 to 322,000 corresponds to this percentile, and so the prospect of getting admission in premier NITs is impossible. However, there could be a possibility in lower ranks of NITs where cutoff is relatively relaxed in the case of ST students. It is advisable to go for counseling and explore state-level colleges as well, which would be more lenient regarding your percentile range.

You might just get a chance to get a government engineering college through state-level counseling if your JEE Mains rank is 870235 and you were born under ST category. However, the chances of admission in an NIT or IIIT are completely ruled out because their ST rank cutoffs are far, far lower. Well, you still have a couple of backup options like state government engineering colleges for reserved category seats and those under the state quota.Check with your state advice for ST cut off and seat availability in government colleges. Explore even the different counseling like JoSAA, CSAB, and individual state admission processes because so

With your JEE Mains score of 83.6% and IPE marks of 911, you can apply to SASTRA University under Stream 1, which considers both JEE Mains scores (25% weightage) and board marks (75% weightage). The exact eligibility depends on the specific course and competition in that year. For Stream 2, admission is based solely on board marks, with higher marks (90%+) improving chances for competitive courses.

With a 91% in board exams, you have a strong academic foundation for admission to SASTRA University. The university gives weightage to both board exam marks and JEE Mains scores. While your JEE Mains score of 50% may be on the lower side compared to typical cut-offs, SASTRA University also considers board marks significantly. Admission depends on the programme and category. For accurate details, checking the official cut-off or consulting the university's admission office is recommended.

Since you are an AIR 827976 in JEE Mains, Pvt Engineering Colleges or even Government Colleges in the states seem to be a good catching point because the cutoffs are not so high.Heritage Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Carpet Technology and new IIITs like IIIT Kalyani, IIIT Una are some good options for you. Also explore the state-level engineering colleges in my home state under? 4 Lacs in which most times there are home candidates reserved seats at much lower cut-offs.NIT Goa has specific branches having quite higher cut-off lines. You may consider it, or you can also think about some private universities such as Lovely

With such CRL rank of 239633 and EWS rank of 38408 in JEE Mains, there is very little chance of getting through at any of the top NITs, especially in the popular branches like CSE or ECE, whose cut-offs usually touch the skies in state/category quotas. However, chances can be for admission to some of the newly established or private NITs, although for branches like Civil, Chemical, and the like, which have comparatively lower cutoff marks.Generally, it should benefit your EWS rank because it has a little lower cutoff than that of the general category. For most accurate information related to current cutoffs, one must follow official coun
