Yes, for the admission into some NITs for B.Tech you can get through in the JEE session 1 with 80 percentile. The colleges that the students can get by securing 80-90 percentile in JEE Main include NITs such as NIT Jalandhar, NIT Raipur, NIT Durgapur, NIT Goa. You can also look at other top 10 college names such as IIIT Allahabad, KIIT University, IIITM Gwalior, BIT Ranchi and LPU Jalandhar. An 80-90 percentile in JEE Main would mean one's rank may lie anywhere between 1,50,000 and 3,00,000 and would get one into the likes of NIT Mizoram, NIT Agartala and NIT Meghalaya.

Some courses, such as BBA, BDes, and lateral entry for Diploma holders are admitted without JEE Main For BDes programme, it requires UCEED scores. Lateral entry admissions are done on merit in the respective Diploma examinations. The DASA scheme under SAT scores can also be used to apply by international students. Refer to the website of NSUT for detailed criteria.

No, Loyola Institute of Technology does not accept JEE scores for admission. Admission to the college is based on the marks obtained in the higher secondary test, and the college administers a single-window system for the admission process, where candidates must sign up for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). Based on the marks obtained in the Class 10 and Class 12 exams, merit lists or rankings are created, and counselling is subsequently conducted. For undergraduate courses like BTech, the admission process involves TNEA counselling.

No, admission to the BTech programme at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University requires a valid JEE Main score. The university uses JEE Main ranks for seat allocation through the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counseling process. Without JEE, candidates are unlikely to be considered for B.Tech admission at DDU. For courses other than BTech the candidate can get admission without JEE exam.

Yes. PES University accepts JEE scores for entry into its undergraduate programs. Candidates seeking admission through JEE must, however, register with PESSAT as part of the application. Besides JEE scores, PES University also accepts scores from other national and state level entrance exams for certain courses. However, candidates will only be admitted if they meet the eligibility criterion and are qualified in the further selection rounds.
