The opening and closing ranks, or cutoffs, for the JEE Main category of the GFTI colleges' BTech, BArch, and dual degree courses are released by JoSAA. In order to be admitted through JEE Main to Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), you must have a percentile score of between 90 and 95, or roughly 150 to 180 marks out of 300. You have a better probability of getting into a GFTI with these grades. The number of applicants taking the entrance exam, the total number of seats available, and the exam's difficulty level are some of the variables that affect the JEE main cut-off.

Yes, with an 82.5 percentile and being an OBC NCL category student and PWD category candidate of rank 165, you do have chances to get admission into the Computer Science (CS) branch at some National Institute of Technology (NIT). For IIT, you will have to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.

The admission process involves counselling and merit list preparation based on the JEE Main rank. For other colleges, the desired JEE range varies. For example, NIT Jalandhar accepts JEE Main scores for admission to B.Tech courses. The cutoff for NIT Jalandhar is around 25,000 to 50,000 rank in JEE Main

Yes, you can join Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU) without taking the JEE Main examination for the B.Tech program. DBRAU offers admission to B.Tech courses based on other criteria, including a bachelor's degree with good grade.
