If the sectional scores are taken into cnosideration, candidates must meet the minimum qualifying score to be eligible for admission through JEMAT exam. If you are a candidate who has applied for admission to a management programme in a university or institute that accepts JEMAT scores, you will need to present the original copy of your JEMAT scorecard at the time of admission. This is a standard requirement to verify that you have achieved the minimum score required for admission to the program. Make sure to keep your original scorecard safe and easily accessible so that you can present it when required.

JEMAT is a state-level entrance exam conducted exclusively for the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) in West Bengal. The exam is conducted to assess the aptitude and skills of the candidates who want to get admission into the MBA course in the affiliated colleges of MAKAUT. However, if you are looking for admission to B-Schools outside West Bengal, candidates need to appear for national-level MBA entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, etc. These exams are accepted by most of the top B-Schools in India.

The JEMAT score is valid for 1 year only as previous year scores will not be considered to get admission in upcoming years. This means that if you have appeared for JEMAT 2023 and have obtained a good score, you can use this score to seek admission in various management courses offered by different colleges in West Bengal for the academic year 2023-24. However, if you wish to seek admission in the academic year 2024-25, you will have to appear for JEMAT 2024 and obtain a valid score. Therefore, to be able to use your JEMAT score the next year, you will have to appear for the exam again.
