Hi, Jewellery is the very close topic for the women in India. India is the largest consumer of gold and hence India imports a lot of gold every year. Jewellery Designing is a blend of creativity and imagination of a person. The person who have a good sense of design and creative imagination along with sound technical knowledge for them Jewellery designing is the right career option.

First of all, I would personally suggest you to opt for regular course. Jewellry designing is a professional course and as per my experience says, professional courses are designed for full time studies and can offer you the best output after completing the same.
It requires a lot of attention, dedication and efforts.
Now coming to your query, it will not be worthless to pursue Masters of Jewellery Design from distance learning in India. hii , My answer is NO, it's not worth at all to pursue for bachelor's of jewellery designing from distance learning. Because jewellery designing is more of like a practical subject, you wouldn't learn anything properly in a distance programme. And it's not only about INDIA, it's the same thing for any other country. If you can't give time to it then I will suggest you to go for a full time short term diploma ( like one year diploma ) instead of a distance Bachelor's degree. You need to practice it regularly.

Diploma, Degree and Certificate courses in Jewellery designing, one should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any stream of a recognised institution. Several short term courses are offered for those who have completed their 10th class.Before qualifying for the course, a student has to pass an aptitude test followed by an interview.
