JEXPO (West Bengal Polytechnic entrance exam) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. It is conducted to provide admission to undergraduate Diploma courses in Engineering and Technology offered in the various institutions of West Bengal, including NSHM Durgapur.

The difference between JEXPO and VOCLET is that JEXPO is conducted for admission to first-year Diploma courses in engineering and technology. On the other hand, VOCLET is conducted for lateral entry into second-year Diploma courses in engineering and technology.

Registration for the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTE) will open on the official website in March 2024 (tentatively). The authorities will conduct around three rounds of JEXPO counselling 2025 which will be followed by a special round if seats are left vacant. Candidates will be able to participate in the JEXPO counselling 2025 online. For every round of counselling, a fresh choice will be accepted by the authorities. Candidates need to participate in the JEXPO counselling process for admissions into the courses offered by the participating institutes. If the candidates are not satisfied with their allotment, then they can apply for the next round of counselling.

The authorities will conduct the JEXPO counselling 2025 in an online mode. Those candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of the JEXPO merit list 2025 will be called for the counselling process. Eligible candidates need to register online in order to participate in the JEXPO counselling 2025. On the basis of the JEXPO merit score, the availability of seats, and the preferences set by the candidates, the JEXPO 2025 seat allotment will be done. Candidates who will be allotted seats in JEXPO 2025 counselling will have two options: either accept the seat or opt for auto-upgradation.

If a candidate is not satisfied with his or her JEXPO 2025 result, he or she can apply for revaluation. The process of revaluation will be conducted by the WBSCTE. The candidate can use their enrollment number to check the JEXPO 2025 merit list. The JEXPO 2025 merit list will be prepared based on the candidates' performance in the entrance examination and will contain the names of all the qualified candidates shortlisted as per their scores. No, JEXPO results will be announced online only, and candidates will not receive any rank card in hard copy. The West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development will release the JEXPO 2025 result on the official website.
