Hello Jhilik, I would like to inform you that you have got a decent score but this score is very low to get in this college. So you should try for other colleges.
All the best!

You may try your luck in IT, in case you are from general category. As for IT, the closing rank goes up to 2000GMR in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College.

Hi Abhishek,
First of all, congratulations to you for this awesome rank. You'll get this college mostly. Even you can try some of the other good colleges accepting JELET score.
All the best.

Hopefully, you will get IT in Jalpaiguri government engineering college, if you are from general category. Every year, closing rank for IT is around 2k.

According to reservation policy in West Bengal, 22% for SC, 6% for ST, 7% for OBC are reserved.
Hence, among 15 seats, 10 are available for general category.

No, government engineering college has no entry through management quota. To enter Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, you have to get a good rank in JELET (for lateral entry) or WBJEE.

There's a high chance for you as a lot of seats are still vacant. The MOP round is introduced in this year and hence much can't be predicted. But as your rank is a bit close to the closing rank, you might get into JGEC.

Only criteria to get admission in Kalyani Government Engineering College is to get a rank below 4000 in WBJEE and keep an average of 60% in class 12th.
Again, if you have done 5 years Diploma and then want to join this course, you can do so through JELET rankings.
Same for Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College.
