There are a total of 200 seats for the MBBS programme at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. The seat allotmnet process is carried out through MCC counselling. Candidates who meet the JIPMER NEET cutoff become eligible for admission to the course. It must be further noted that the seat intake mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

JIPMER Puducherry allot seats in the MBBS course based on candidates scores in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam. The course aspirants need to take this entrance test and secure a good score to get selected. Aspirants who meet the eligibilitgy requirements can visit the NTA website to register and apply. After the entrance exam, a cutoff list is released by the authorities. Candidates with NEET score more than or equal to the cutoff become eligible for admission.
