It's as follows:The selection process for B.Sc at JIPMER is based on merit in the NEET exama.Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany & Zoology with a minimum of 50% aggregate along with English as one of the subjects to be eligible for B.Sc at JIPMER.The minimum NEET score required for admission to JIPMER is not mentioned in the search results. However, admission to MBBS and all other UG courses at JIPMER is based on the score in NEET UG.

JIPMER is an autonomous institution. So it has the power of setting up its own system, academic curriculum and evaluation process. It doesn't fall under the authority of MCI (NMC).
