The university admit candidates based on merit in JIS University Entrance Test (JET) or WBJEE. JET is conducted in the month of Aug/Sep. Candidates must apply for the exam before the prescribed deadline. Moreover, the WBJEE 2025 application form is expected to be out in Dec and the test can be conducted in Apr month of the admission year.

There are a total of 10 seats in JIS University for the BPharm (lateral) course. The seat allotment process for this course is based on JIS University Entrance Test (JET) score. The total fee for JIS University BPharm courses is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fee, caution money, and more. A few of these components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. JIS Bpharm tuition fee amount is INR 6.69 lakh and for BPharm (lateral) course is INR 4.03 lakh. The university provide placements support to the students. JIS University also organises internship programmes. As per verified student reviews on Shiksha, the highest package offered has stood at INR 7 LPA and the lowest is INR 3 LPA. Many top pharmacy companies also participate in its placements drive, such as Tornado, Sun Pharma, MacLeod, etc.

JIS University BPharm admission is made based on merit in the JIS University Entrance Test (JET)/WBJEE. To be eligible for the course, aspirants must be Class 12 with 60% aggregate with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics or Biology as the additional subject from a recognised Central/ State Board or its equivalent. The eligible students can further visit the official website to register and apply for admission. A merit list is released to declare the names of the selected students.
