JK Lakshmipat University eligibility criteria varies course-wise. The minimum qualification required for UG programmes is Class 12. Candidates applying for PG programmes have to complete a minimum of graduation. Candidates must pass Class 12 with English and three selected subjects with a minimium of 60% aggregate to apply for JK Lakshmipat University BDes course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, the university conducts JKLU DET to select candidates for BDes programme.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate in English, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry are eligible to apply for JK Lakshmipat University BTech programme. A minimum of 60% aggregate in Mathematics in Class 12 is required to apply for BTech. Students in their final examination of Class 12 may apply; however, admission will be provisional, subject to achieving the minimum marks.

JKLU offers Early Bird Scholarships to candidates who apply in various application rounds conducted by the university. Below is the criteria:In Round 1, an extra 15% scholarship is grantedIn Round 2, an additional 10% scholarship is providedIn Round 3, an extra 5% scholarship All scholarships are expressed as a percentage of academic fee exclusively. No scholarship covers technology fee, hostel, transport, and mess charges.

For admission to the BTech course at JK Lakshmipat University - JKLU, candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in English, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in Class 12, plus 60% in Mathematics. To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech programme at JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), candidates must meet the following criteria:Have an aggregate of at least 70% in both Class 10 and 12.Have a minimum score of 65% in both 10th and 12th class for the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering program.Have minimum marks of 60% in English, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in class XII.Students who have appeared in the final examination of 10+2 may also apply, but admission will be provisional.
