Marks per correct answer: 1 markNegative marking: Yes, there is a penalty of 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.Marks for unattempted questions: No marks are awarded or deducted for questions you leave blank.

Yes, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers. Also, 1 mark will be given for every correct answer. There are three sections in the JKCET question paper namely - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The exam is held in offline mode for 3 hours duration. Each 3 section of the question paper has 60 questions and has mamximum 60 marks. The, maximum marks in total is thus 180.

The, maximum marks in total in JKCET is 180. 1 marks is awarded for each correct answer and for ecach wrong answer, 0.25 marks is deducted. Each 3 section of the question paper has 60 questions and has mamximum 60 marks.

In JKCET, candidates have to attempt Multiple-Choice Questions.  JKCET is held in offline, pen and paper based mode in english language only. The entrance test is based on the courses of study and syllabi of the 12th class. JKCET exam will have 1 paper that will have 3 sections - Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Eavh section will have 60 questions of marks each. The total marks in the paper is 180 and the total questions are 180.

The topics that are asked in the JKCET exam in the maths section are: Sets, relations and functions, Complex number; linear inequation; linear programming, Sequence and series, permutation and combination & binomial theorem, Trigonometric and inverse trigonometry functions, Matrices and determinants, Limit, continuity and differentiation, Integration and differential equations, Straight lines and conic sections, Statistics and probability, Vectors and three dimensional geometry.
