JMI Entrance Exam cut offs are announced along with the Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam result. The cut offs are released publicaly along with the merit list. The JMI starts the counseliing process on the basis of JMI exam cut offs four to five days after the result announcement. The JMI exam marks of candidates shortlisted in written exam and Personal Interview (if required), will be considered the cut off for the particular course. Only those candidates who will make it to the written exam and interview (if any) will be shortlisted for the course.

No, the JMI Entrance Exam answer key challenge processing fee of INR 500/ programme is non-refundable. Jamia Millia Islamia has specified the same on the information bulletin. As the answer key objection fee is non-refundable, candidates must crosscheck their challenges and be completely sure about the inaccuracy of the provisional answer key before sending out the objections. Given this information, candidates must not expect a refund of fee even if the JMI exam answer key challenges are found to be valid.

In case the Review Committee members confirm that the JMI Entrance Exam answer key objection against one or more provisional keys is valid, then that question will be excluded and marks for those questions will be given to all test-takers attempting that particular question. Jamia Millia Islamia has clearly stated in the prospectus that no grievance will be entertained without fee payment and no grievance related to answer key will be entertained after the mentioned time for a programme. Hence, candidate must raise their objection within the stipulated time.

Yes, Jamia Millia Islamia releases the revised answer key PDF after examining the objections raised by the candidates on the provisional answer key. The final answer key is calculated on the basis of the final review of the objections received against the JMI provisional answer key. The final JMI answer key will be the basis of JMI Entrance Exam result. Therefore, till the time the university does not release the final answer key of JMI exam, the credibility and authenticity of JMI Entrance Exam result will remain doubtful. So, it is necessary for the examination authorities to release the final answer key of JMI Entrance Exam.

Jamia Millia Islamia has announced the JMI Entrance Exam answer key objection fee amount. The candidate has to pay fees of INR 500/- per programme to challenge the uploaded key. Last year also the JMI exam answer key challenge fee was same. Candidates raising objections for two programmes will have to pay INR 1000. The JMI Entrance Exam answer key objection fee has to be paid online, through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI or Paytm. Unless a candidate pays the fee, the objection or the challenge will not be considered to be submitted, and will not be reviewed by the expert committee.

The last date to submit challenges against the JMI Entrance Exam answer key is likely to be within 48 hours after the key upload. Jamia Millia Islamia has not yet announced the dates of challenging the JMI answer keys. In case a candidate wishes to file objection against JMI Entrance Exam answer key, he/she will have to follow the procedure and instruction stated by the university. It must be noted that the process is completely online. The step-by-step process is given below:
1. Visit the official examination website of JMI.
2. View the admission result page
4. Click on JMI Answer Key tab
5. Now select the course name and course type.
7. Now select the answer that you think is correct and give a justification for it
8. Click on Confirm

The examination authority of Jamia Millia Islamia review the objections and take decisions about the challenged JMI Entrance Exam official answer key. After the Jamia Millia Islamia answer key are released, candidates are given the opportunity to file for objections. The objections will have to be raised within 48 hours after the key upload. The expert committee assess the validity of the objections and then take a call on it. Candidates are also given the option to send files as proof to substantiate their objections. The candidate has to pay fees of INR 500/- per programme to challenge the uploaded key.

After downloading the answer key, candidates can calculate their score by following the marking scheme prescribed by the examination authority. Candidates should assign the marks allotted to a particular question if they have marked it correctly. If the answer happens to be incorrect, they should deduct the marks assigned for the wrong answer. The score can be calculated based on the number of answers marked correctly in the exam. The detailed marking scheme is given below:

While Jamia Millia Islamia releases JMI Entrance Exam answer key PDF, it does not release detailed solutions or answer-solving process and explanation. However, candidates will be given an opportunity to raise objections and seek reply from the university. Candidates can refer to the explanation provided by the university and note down the correct and effective way to solve a question. But the examinees will not have any official source of reference to understand the answer solving methodology. They have to rely on informal sources only.
