The JMI Entrance Exam cutoff is usually high. The total marks allotted to the test are 200 and the cutoff for most programmes is as high as 200. The range of the cutoff is 170-200 across categories. The programmes for which the JMI Entrance Exam 2024 cutoff was the highest were BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) History and BSc Biotechnology (200 marks for General category students). This was followed by BA (Hons) Urdu and BA (Hons) Hindi at 194 and 188 marks. Aspirants must note that the cutoff marks mentioned above are for the first phase of counselling. The cutoff marks gradually decrease with each round.

Your JMI Entrance Exam admit cards are only valid for one shift of the exam i.e. you can only take the exam once with your admit card. It is advised that you keep your admit card safe the document verification stage of your admission process.

No, calculators and all other electronic devices are prohibited at JMI Entrance Exam venues. Other exam day instructions can be found on the candidates' admit card.

Your JMI exam centre details will be mentioned on your JMI Entrance Exam admit card. Notably, JMI Entrance Exam is conducted in various cities and applicants are given the option to choose their exam cities while filling out the application form. Applicants must also note that Delhi is the second default where the exam can be conducted. If a programme receives 49 or less applications, the entrance test for it is conducted in Delhi.

Similar to the result PDFs, JMI Entrance Exam examinees can check their scorecards online on the official website. To view the scorecard, they have to log on to the website using credentials like - registration number, course type, and course name.
