Candidates will have to paste their postcard-size photograph of 4"x 6" dimension on the JMI Entrance Exam admit card. The photograph should be the same as that uploaded during the JMI Exam application process. They must also ensure that the photograph is clearly visible and legible and fulfills the guidelines given by Jamia Millia Islamia. Candidates have to sign on the JMI Entrance Exam admit card in the presence of the invigilator. This acts as a proof of attendance for the exam day. In case one has signed it before that, he/she can discard the document and take a fresh print out and follow the instructions carefully. In case a candidate realises this after reaching the exam centre, then they must notify the exam centre authorities and seek for their approval to allow them to appear for the exam. Otherwise, they will have to take a printout of the JMI Entrance Exam admit card from the exam centre or from the vicinity.

Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of the admit card. However, it is not compulsory. Jamia Millia Islamia has not stated any guideline regarding this. They must also ensure that they have two to three spare copies of the admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, she/he can take a black and white printout of the JMI Entrance Exam 2024 admit card as well, but the details such as photograph and text should be clearly visible.

Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia. The admit card can be downloaded any number of times till the day of examination by logging on to the official website of JMI. The admit card once issued is always visible on the dashboard. So, candidates should not worry in case of lost admit card. However, candidates are also advised to keep a soft copy with them for future reference so that they can take a printout if required. Sometimes due to technical issues also candidates may face difficulty in downloading the admit card, in such a situation having a soft copy proves to be very helpful.

In such a scenario, you must contact Jamia Millia Islamia immediately and get it rectified. If the details printed on the JMI exam admit card do not match those on the official ID proof that you carry on the day of the examination, you will not be allowed to appear for the exam. You must ensure that the rectified admit card for the JMI exam is received well in advance, prior to the exam day, to avoid last-minute stress. Yes, just like every year the exam conducting authority, Jamia Milia Islamia will conduct the Jamia Entrance Exam for all the Undergraduate and Post-Graduate courses in 2025 as well.

The Jamila Milia entrance exam question paper is of 3 hours time duration. The written exam consists of two parts A & B. Part A consists of 20 marks and has MCQ type questions while the Part B is descriptive in nature and consist of 180 marks. Both the parts contribute to make the time duration of the question paper is of 3 hours duration.
