JNTU Anantapur is usually considered to be on par or slightly higher than SGT University for a B.Tech degree, specifically because of its mounted reputation as a most reliable engineering group in Andhra Pradesh, even as SGT University is identified as a top B.Tech university within the Delhi NCR region, with sturdy industry connections and contemporary infrastructure; but, the choice might also rely upon personal priorities like area and particular specializations offered by means of each group.

On average B-tech degree holders from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur, receive from INR 3.5 Lacs to INR 6 Lacs as annual salary packages. This might fluctuate according to the student's branch of engineering, his skills, the industry's demand as well as the number of placements available. Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering branches boast of higher packages in most cases, as top companies pay more than INR 8 Lacs per annum for eligible candidates.
