Repeating the last year's remarkable ranking, LPU has been ranked again by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 on 23rd place amongst Top Universities in India (Both Government & Private), which is due to consistent growth and remarkable education quality of LPU. Moreover, there are a lot of differences among these two. LPU is a university while JIET is an affiliated college. LPU has autonomy to upgrade its syllabi as per industry consultations, while JIET depends on the parent university for the curriculum. LPU has resources and intellectual capabilities which are beyond the reach of small colleges. The scale of LPUs operations is in another realm, which JIET and other affiliated colleges cannot match. A quick check on the website of JIET shows that 64 companies visit their campus for recruitment, while the same at LPU is more than 800 companies !
