No, there is no tuition fee for Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz for international students. However, every student is required to pay a semester fee, which is, €357.46. In the context of number of international applicants, about 4,200 international students from more than 130 countries are enrolled at JGU. In other words, international students at JGU constitute around 12% of the total student enrollment. A wide range of courses are also available to international students. A few of the unofficial sources have mentioned that JGU Mainz acceptance rate is between 28% - 35%. The acceptance rate justifies that the university is quite selective. So, to take admission here, the university must have a good academic record and meet all the eligibility requirements. The general entry requirements are having a school leaving certificate while taking admission to bachelor’s courses. For admission to master’s courses, the applicants should have a bachelor’s degree.
